Maternal Child Health Outreach
EveryStep's Maternal Child Health program provides education, support and home nursing visits for pregnant and postpartum women and helps to ensure that babies are as healthy as possible. Our staff provides: • Individualized prenatal and postpartum health education • Infant care and safety education • Depression screening and referrals • Family planning consultation • Help choosing a doctor and signing up for health insurance, including Hawki and immediate presumptive Medicaid coverage • Oral health screenings and help with obtaining dental vouchers
Healthy Start & Empowerment
Healthy Start & Empowerment provides case management to families in Polk County who are pregnant or have a child up to the age of six. Services include: home visits, prenatal, postpartum and parenting education, child development screenings and education, prenatal depression screenings and referral, support groups, referrals to community resources and support in accessing services. Referrals can be made by a physician, social worker, family member or friend. Individuals may also self-refer.

Coast & Clearing
Charlene began building the products that became Coast & Clearing in late 2013, as a way to destress from a grueling position in corporate accounting. Previous experiences with endometriosis and chronic pain created an additional incentive for her to build a self-care routine that had previously been lacking. With a groundswell of interest and support, she left corporate life in early 2015 to concentrate on C&C full-time. Coast & Clearing focuses on intentional product creation (with careful vegan-friendly sourcing) to help clients carve out time for rejuvenation and a bit of luxury on a budget.
