Doula serving Ames/Ankeny/Des Moines, Iowa and surrounding areas
In-person support and virtual support are available
Update 11/23/20: Due to the recent spread of COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus, some hospitals have made adjustments to client's visitors to help keep the spread of COVID-19 at a minimum, especially to those that may be ill, elderly, or immune-compromised. I am continuing to offer virtual support via Zoom in the interim. I have made steps to provide safety and support in-person during labor and delivery. I encourage you to connect with your doctor to determine if Doulas are considered part of your birth team. I will work with you to advocate for yourself as things progress. I will remain flexible in my availability and mechanisms to support you and your birth support team.
Meet your Doula!
Hi! I'm Jazzmine Brooks and I am a professional doula in the Ames/Ankeny/Des Moines, Iowa, and the surrounding areas.
I also provide support virtual out of state to individuals and families.
When invited to journey with someone through their fertility, pregnancy, birth, or postpartum, I become an ally. I am someone to walk beside you and I serve as someone to lean on when needed. I focus on providing support through evidence-based care, hands-on support, listening with compassion and an open heart, and treating families with dignity and love.
