Doula serving Ames/Ankeny/Des Moines and surrounding areas
Virtual Support is Available
Due to the recent spread of COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus, some hospitals are limiting their client's visitors to help keep the spread of COVID-19 at a minimum, especially to those that may be ill, elderly, or immune-compromised. I am continuing to monitor changes to county hospitals. Currently, Doulas are considered part of your birth team. I will work with you to advocate for yourself as things progress. I will remain flexible in my availability and mechanisms to support you and your birth support team.
Jai's Fertility + Birth Doula Services
I provide support and guidance that creates a safe, memorable and empowering birth experience. Expectant families will gain access to support and services related to fertility, birth, postpartum and loss.
Jai Olive Community
I provide an array of opportunities that highlight personal and communal needs around health and healing. Being Olivia is a podcast that promotes the power of healing as womxn of color. The Rural Black Doula Chronicles vlog is posted to enhance awareness, promote action, and create dialogue around intersectional wellness. Lotus Sisters connect womxn of color nationally to read, grow and share experiences through a common book read and discussion.
